Exporting health services in developing countries: the case of Tunisia

Against this backdrop, the aim of this exploratory research is to assess the reality of international trade in healthcare services, its scope, its impact on the relevant developing economies and future perspectives. This research is based on a field survey conducted in Tunisia whose situation is compared to Jordan. It continues with an estimation of volume, structure and trends in international trade in healthcare services, then identifies the main features of this specific type of export service.
